¹  An Internet source (read Sept. 13, 2009) says: Lucretia Maria FIELD was born on 14 Sep 1837 in Moravia, Cayuga, New York [date of birth not completely consistent with the note attached to this ambrotype]. The same source reports about Lucretia's parents: Elijah Stratton FIELD was born on 2 Jul 1809 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts. He died on 18 Mar 1873. ... He was married to Mary WRIGHT on 9 Oct 1834 in Deerfield, Franklin, Massachusetts. Mary WRIGHT was born on 3 Feb 1813 in Deerfield, Franklin, Massachusetts.
